Jim's training began through an apprenticeship
timber frame program led by Tedd Benson. He then held
the position of lead framer for 13 years at Benson Woodworking on a
variety of new construction, remodeling, and historical
preservation projects. In 1999, Jim decided to start
his own Timber Frame company and has become very successful.
He has traveled around the country building timber frames
including one in Alaska.
